What is the working principle of an integrated heat pump water heater?

The working principle of an integrated heat pump water heater is that the air energy water heater operates according to the "inverse Carnot" principle. Specifically, the "outdoor unit" compresses air like an air pump, causing the air temperature to rise. Then, a liquid that will boil at -17 ℃ conducts heat to the indoor water storage tank, and then releases the heat and conducts it into the water. Simply put, it absorbs heat from the air to heat the water temperature, and the absorbed heat is applied to the kitchen to solve the problem of stuffiness.

Using the working principle of heat pumps for heating, which is opposite to air conditioning refrigeration - the national refrigeration standard is 1000 watts, while electric refrigeration is 2800 watts. According to the principle of heat balance, a minimum of 2800 watts of heat can be generated at the same time. With the input of 1000 watts of electricity, the actual heat generated ranges from 3000 to 4000 watts. Transporting this heat to an insulated water tank consumes only a quarter of the electricity consumption of an electric water heater (even if the thermal efficiency of an electric water heater is 100%, the input of 1000 watts of heat is only 1000 watts).

Air powered water heaters do not require sunlight, so they can be placed at home or outdoors. After the water stored in a solar water heater is used up, it is difficult to generate hot water immediately. If electric heating takes a long time, and air energy water heaters can operate under pressure 24 hours a day as long as there is air and the temperature is above zero degrees Celsius. In this way, after using a box of water, the air energy water heater will generate another box of hot water in about an hour. At the same time, it can fundamentally eliminate safety hazards such as electric water heater leakage, dry burning, and harmful gases generated during the use of gas water heaters. It overcomes the shortcomings of solar water heaters such as inability to use on rainy days and inconvenient installation, and has many advantages such as high safety, high energy efficiency, long service life, and no emission of toxic gases. The lifespan of air powered water heaters can generally reach 15 to 20 years.
